What one pip is worth in your account currency.
As of Jul 2, 2026, one pip on EUR/USD is worth $10.00 per standard lot for a USD account — no conversion needed, because USD is the quote currency. On a JPY cross such as GBP/JPY, one pip is 1,000 JPY per standard lot, which is €5.43 for a EUR account at today's ECB rate. A pip is the smallest standard price increment for a pair: 0.0001 for most pairs, 0.01 for JPY pairs.
For 1 standard lot (100,000 base units), the pip value in the quote currency is fixed:
