Where each one fits

ForexFin

  • Cheapest paid plan here, and the free journal is usable on its own.
  • Every trade scored in R; entry and exit tags show which reasons pay.
  • Trader adds tilt flags (revenge re-entry, size increase) and written week, month and lifetime retrospectives checked against your own figures (both in beta).
  • Weaker: no live broker sync, forex and gold only, a young product.

Edgewonk

  • One annual price with everything included.
  • Broad market coverage and unlimited accounts on that plan.
  • No free plan; the refund window is the trial.

Tradervue

  • Long-standing journal with a free tier.
  • Strongest fit for stock and ETF traders.
  • Monthly pricing sits well above ForexFin's.

TradeZella

  • Most broker and prop-firm integrations listed.
  • Trade replay and AI backtests on the Pro and Ultra plans.
  • Highest prices in this table; Essential allows one trading account.

Choosing

If you trade forex or gold on MetaTrader or cTrader and want to see which setups and entry reasons carry your results, start with the free ForexFin journal and import one month of history. If you need live broker sync or trade several asset classes, Edgewonk or TradeZella cover more ground at a higher price. Stock traders are usually better served by Tradervue.

Try it on your own history.

Import a CSV, check every row before it is saved, and see your results in R by setup, pair and entry reason. Free journal, no card.
